Obituary for Ronald A. Frelin
Ronald A. Frelin, 71, of New Millport died on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at the Select Specialty Hospital - Johnstown.
He was born on May 17, 1951 in Clearfield, a son of the late Raymond Guy and Adeline (McCracken) Frelin.
Ron graduated from St. Francis School in 1969, then went on to serve with the US Air Force for over 20 years. After his military career he worked various jobs, including Lowe's in Clearfield. He enjoyed woodworking and sitting on his brother Tom's porch in Kentucky. Ron loved cars, especially sports cars. He loved to drive, and loved to drive fast. His love for driving took him on many road trips across the country.
He is survived by three sons, Adam Guy Frelin and wife Shana of Dallas, TX, Benjamin Jason Frelin of Merrimack, NH, and Christian Young Frelin of Clearfield; a sister, Bertha 'Jane' Frelin of Clearfield; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Chai.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond Guy Frelin, Jr., Carl Andrew Frelin, and Thomas David Frelin; a nephew, Daniel Thomas Frelin; and a niece, Lacy Adele Magagnotti.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
