Obituary for Roswell Ellsworth Frank Babcock Jr.
Roswell Ellsworth Frank Babcock Jr., 67, of Curwensville, died on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Penn Highlands DuBois.
He was born on April 7, 1954 in Poughkeepsie, NY, a son of the late Roswell Ellsworth Frank Babcock Sr. and Barbara Anna (Tice) Babcock.
Mr. Babcock served with the U. S. National Guard. He was known for completing odd jobs and constantly 'tinkering' with cars and various things.
He is survived by three children, Jynell Smeal and husband Thomas Jr., Jody Cowder, and Roswell Babcock III and wife Cindy; five grandchildren; one great grandson; a sister, Carol Kozlowski; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Suzette A. (Martell) Babcock on January 17, 2021. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Ada Babcock Farley.
In honor of Mr. Babcock's wishes, there will be no services.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to American Heart Association, 501 Howard Avenue, Suite D., Altoona, PA, 16601.
