Obituary for Sarah E. Miller (Manahan)
Sarah E. Miller, 94, of Clearfield died on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.
She was born on November 7, 1926 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Ruben F. and Vada (Lytle) Manahan.
Mrs. Miller was a homemaker who enjoyed cross word puzzles, gardening, crocheting, and jigsaw puzzles. She was a former member of the Clearfield VFW ladies auxiliary.
She is survived by her children, Lewis Maines of FL, Robin Miller of FL, Mary Grumblatt of Clearfield, and Donna Miller of WV; seventeen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a brother, Henry Manahan of Clearfield.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ward J. Miller. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Norma Hadlez; her son, Gilbert Maines; and siblings, Link, Marion, Alice, Emily, Lillian, Phoebe, and Clara.
A celebration of life will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 2 PM. Interment will be in the Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Nathaniel D. Yingling, MD Cancer Center, P.O. Box 992, Clearfield, PA .
