Obituary for Suzette A. Babcock (Martell)
Suzette A. Babcock, 63, of Curwensville, died on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Penn Highlands DuBois.
She was born on November 24, 1957 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Hugh and Gladys (Welch) Martell.
Suzette was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting and other crafts. She most enjoyed spending time with her family. She especially cherished having conversation via text, riding four-wheelers or working on stock cars with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Roswell Babcock Jr. of Curwensville, whom she wed in 1980; three children, Jynell Smeal and husband Thomas Jr., Jody Cowder, and Roswell Babcock III and wife Cindy; five grandchildren; one great grandson; siblings Richard Martell and wife Margaret, Patricia Lane, Emma Reasinger, Gladys Pettis and husband Wendell, Susan Irwin and husband Ken, and Randy Milton and husband Thomas.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Bertha Tindall; and two brothers, Hugh and Jerry Martell.
In honor of her wishes, there will be no services.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society 108R North Second St., Suite 1B, Clearfield, PA, 16830 .
