Obituary for William D. McKendrick
William D. McKendrick , 77, of Clearfield died on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Marion Manor, Curwensville.
He was born on October 17, 1944 in Clearfield, a son of the late Andrew Mearle and Bessie (Long) McKendrick.
Mr. McKendrick was employed as an Air Traffic Controller, working in Ohio and Washington, DC. He also served in the US Air Force from 1962-1966.
He is survived by his brother, Kenneth L. McKendrick of Clearfield; a sister, Phyllis Foster of TX; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Linda (Hite) McKendrick on October 3, 2015; a daughter, Laura Lane 'Janie' McKendrick; a son Andrew Holbert McKendrick; ten brothers and sisters and two infant siblings.
In honor of William's wishes, there will be no services observed at this time. Burial will be in the Eden Cemetery, Frenchville.
