Alyssa Lynn Ortman, 27, of Clearfield passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022 with her daughter, Khaleesi Rae Fink, as the result of a motor vehicle accident in Ashland, WI.
She was born on October 11, 1994 in Ware, MA.
Alyssa graduated from Clearfield Area High School in 2013. She danced at the Dance Co. of Clearfield, and later at Kathy's School of Dance, Curwensville. She was also involved with the Starlettes where she did twirling and flags.
Alyssa was an Up Front Review Clerk at Lincare, Philipsburg since April 2018. She also had her own online shop, Zen Vibes Crystals and Jewelry, that was her passion. She sold crystals, jewelry, and other healing items. This passion began after the loss of her brother in 2020. It was a big part of her healing, and she wanted to help and heal others.
Spending time by the water, being in nature, going to the beach, listening to music, and journaling were all things Alyssa enjoyed to do and brought her peace. Above all, she loved spending time with her daughter, Khaleesi, and being a mom. Her daughter was the love of her life.
She is survived by her father, Steven Ortman of Ashland, WI; mother, Ginger Urbanik and husband Jim of Clearfield; paternal grandmother, Mary Kay O'Brien and significant other Donn McCarthy; maternal grandmother, Barbara Smith; three nieces and one nephew; a sister-in-law; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In addition to her daughter she was preceded in death by her brother, Christopher Alan Ortman; maternal grandfather, Raymond Martincheck, Sr.; and paternal grandfather, Toby Ortman.
A memorial service will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Friday, August 5, 2022 at 6 PM with Pastor Catherine Dittman officiating.
