Blair Howell, 75
of Olanta died on Monday, August 18, 2003 at his residence.
He was born on June 4, 1928 in Curwensville, a son of the late Homer and Lola (Ogden) Howell.
Mr. Howell retired from the former North American Refractories, Curwensville in 1990 after 43 years of service.
He was Methodist by faith and served in the US Air Force during the Korean era.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis I. (McGarry) Howell, whom he married July 22, 1950 in Clearfield

Shelly Shomo and husband Lance Clearfield
two grandchildren,
Jessica and Alexis Shomo
three step-grandchildren,
Justin, Jamie and Lynsey Shomo
a sister,
Evelyn Borger Curwensville
numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Arthur, Bill, Harry, Homer and Norman Howell and sisters Edith Marshall, Ruth Bortot and Margaret Rowles.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Thursday at
11:00 AM with Rev. John White and Rev. Daniel M. Osterhout officiating. Interment will follow in the Bloomington Cemetery, Curwensville, RD.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM and on Thursday
from 10 - 11:00 AM
