Bruce Leroy Johnson, age 72, of Grampian, Pa, passed away on Thursday, August 7,2025.

Bruce was born on November 29,1952, to Arthur and Mary Jane Johnson in Philadelphia, Pa.

Bruce retired from the Iron Workers Union after many years of service. He spent much of his time cooking and entertaining family and friends. Cooking was his favorite pastime and was always accompanied by a canine companion wherever he went. He loved his animals like family.

Bruce was predeceased by his brother, Steven Johnson, grandparents, Thomas and Alice Fullam, and LeRoy and Nora Johnson. He is survived by his parents, Arthur and Mary Jane Johnson, his sister, Sharon Hollinger, and sister in law, Diane Hanby. Nieces and nephews Christopher and LaDonna Hollinger, Melissa Oxendine, Brian Hollinger, Matthew and Marie Johnson and Kyle and Katie Johnson. Great Nieces and nephews Trevor and Ashley Oxendine, Rachel Johnson, Wyatt Oxendine, and Samantha Johnson. Charlotte Johnson and Beckett Johnson, Everett Hollinger, and Greyson Hollinger.

Viewing will be held @ Beardsley Funeral Home & Crematory, Clearfield on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, from 6:00-8:00pm. A viewing will also be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 11 AM to 12 PM, at Barr Funeral Home, 2104 E. Main Street, Millville, NJ 08332. Burial will be in Haleyville Methodist Cemetery, Haleyville, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to local humane societies. Bruce felt strongly about animal adoption.
