Bruce T. Morgan

October 2, 1932 — October 22, 2025

Bruce Thomas Morgan, 93, of Clearfield, and formerly of Grampian, passed away on October 22, 2025, at Knickerbocker Villa.


Mr. Morgan was born in DuBois on October 2, 1932, the son of the late Thomas and Martha (Bruce) Morgan.


He was a member of the Grampian Church of Faith, formerly the St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Grampian. Mr. Morgan was a self-employed truck driver; after retiring he returned to work, driving for Lezzer Lumber until his final retirement. Mr. Morgan enjoyed spending time with family, vacationing with family and friends, working in his garage, gardening, and making sauerkraut with longtime friends, which then became a family tradition. 


Mr. Morgan was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving from 1952-1956. He was a member of the Robert Ferguson VFW Post 842, Curwensville, as well as the Curwensville American Legion Post 505.


Mr. Morgan is survived by his wife Vermyra; four children, Kim Wright and husband Bob, Todd Morgan and wife Lisa, Bonnie Scipione and husband Scott, and Melissa Peterman and husband Rich; grandchildren, Eric Wright and wife Meghan, Ryan Wright and wife Gail, Kyle Wright and wife Shannon, Morgan Peterman, Madison Peterman and fiance David Murphy, Abby Morgan, Megan Moore and Todd Munchak; great grandchildren, Cameron, Chloe, Allie, Tatem, Olivia, Elijah, and Benjamin.


Mr. Morgan is preceded in death by his parents.


Sincere appreciation for the care given at home by Vickie, Karen and Michelle and the entire staff of Knickberbocker Villa. The family would also like to extend appreciation to Penn Highlands Community Nursing Hospice and the VA Home Based Primary Care Team.


Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.


The family suggests that memorial contributions can be made the Curwensville Rescue Hose and Ladder, 408 Filbert Street, Curwensville, PA 16833; or to the Centre County Easter Seals, 383 Rolling Ridge Drive, State College, PA 16801.
