Carol Sue Henry

Carol Sue Henry, 78, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2026, at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh.

She was born October 20, 1947, the daughter of Leonard and Bessie (Putillion) Turner.

Carol retired as a Pharmacy Tech from Penn Highlands DuBois in 2016.

She enjoyed sitting on the porch and reading books. She loved to spend time with her family and arrange family gatherings. Carol was a fantastic cook and nobody ever left her house hungry.

She is survived by her husband, Barry Henry whom she wed September 4, 1996; three sons, John (Amy) Eamigh, Ron (Melissa) Eamigh, and Brad (Amanda) Eamigh; grandchildren, Johnny, Macy, Cassie, Josie, Griffin, Maddix, Chloe, Cadence; great grandchildren, Lincoln, Briar, Ellie, Easton, Jaxon, Miles, and Layla; siblings, Ron (Judy) Turner, Gary 'Bud' (Sharon) Turner, Shelby Ryen; Gloria Ann Passmore, Brenda (Marvin) Shirey, and Sandy (Dave) Johnston; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Russell Turner, Harold 'Son' Turner, Norma Greene, and Shirley Sleigh.

A memorial service will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at 11 AM with Pastor Gunther Botzman officiating.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 10 - 11 AM.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hahne Cancer Center, 100 Hospital Avenue, DuBois, PA 15801; or if you are able to donate blood, to do so in her name.
