Cecelia A. Isidro

Cecelia Ann Isidro, 85, passed away on May 25, 2026, at Ridgeview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Curwensville, PA.

She was born June 11, 1940, the daughter of Huey Hoover and Ruth (Bailor) Hoover.

'CC' as she was known by her Ridgeview family was very fiesty and left a deep impact on those who knew and loved her. She loved to make people laugh while also being a straight shooter and always getting to the point. Through her fiesty personality, she loved her family deeply with her whole heart. She will be remembered for her cooking and her love for frogs.

She is survived by her daughter, Shawna Smeltzer; two granddaughters, Raeanna McCracken and husband Travis, and Natasha Eaton and husband Brad; 6 great-grandchildren, Conner, Lanni, Graycen, Dixie, Aeslynne, Seylah; and a sister, Pearl Baney Carraway.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mandy Dawn; a son, John Scott; a brother, John Hoover; and a sister, Ellen Roussel; and her late husband, William L. Dale.

Honoring Cecelia's wishes, there will be no public services.

Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting with the arrangements.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Allegheny Spay and Neuter Clinic, 1380 Shawville Hwy, Woodland, PA 16881.
