Celeste L. Jozefik, 68, passed away on April 17, 2026, at her residence.
She was born March 30, 1958, the daughter of Ward McGovern and Donna (Luzier) McGovern.
Celeste was a member of the Houtzdale American Legion Freeburg Post 591 Auxiliary. She enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and was a big fan.
She is survived by her children, Donna Bender Feight, and Allen Bender and wife Megan; grandchildren, Dana Clark and husband Rick, Andrew Dysard, Braylon Bender, and Bristol Bender; great grandchildren, Maverick Clark and Nora Clark; siblings Yvonne Shaffer, Francis McGovern and wife December, and Pat McGovern.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill McGovern, and Joseph McGovern.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting with arrangements.
