Celestia W. Long, 79
of Legion Road, Clearfield died on Friday, December 26, 2003 at Clearfield Hospital.
She was born on April 20, 1924 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Raymond and Marie (Dougherty) Williams.
Mrs. Long was a homemaker, a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Clearfield since 1935, a former member of the Clearfield Chapter #379 Order of the Eastern Star and a Charter member of the Keystone Travel Trailer Club.
She is survived by three children,

Gail Adams and husband Robert Clearfield
Pam Long Atco, NJ
four grandchildren,
Jeffrey Long, Melissa Long Hasar, Jennifer Adams Weniger and Renee Adams Wallace
three great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren
a brother,
Charles Williams Glen Burnie, MD
and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank W. Long on December 7, 2003 and whom she married May 2, 1942 in Hagerstown, MD, a granddaughter Jeannie Long and an infant brother.
Funeral services will be held at the St. John Lutheran Church, Clearfield on Tuesday at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Karen Leedahl officiating. Interment will follow in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.
Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Monday from
2-4 & 6-8 PM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, 217 E. Pine Street, Clearfield.
