Edwin J. Wright, 78, of Clearfield died on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.
He was born on March 19, 1934 in Meadville, a son of the late Carl and Dorothy (Williams) Wright.
Mr. Wright was employed by the Clearfield Machine Shop for 12 years.
He was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield. Having served during the Korean Conflict, Mr. Wright was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis (Guy) Wright whom he wed July 8, 1978 in Clearfield; three step sons Mark Caruso of Clearfield, Dean Caruso of Beallsville, OH and Rick Caruso and wife Tonya of Treasure Lake; and a step granddaughter Nicole Bianca Caruso.
In accordance of Mr. Wright's wishes, there will be no public services.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to American Heart Association, 501 Howard Avenue, Suite D, Altoona, PA 16601 or to the American Parkinson's Disease Association, 420 East North Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
