Frances was raised in the home of her grandmother, Ida Graffius, and grew up in Shiloh where she treasured the companionship of many family members.

Because of our cherished bond with this kind, unpretentious, generous woman, we are all better people and the world is a better place. She inspired a spiritual, compassionate, and authentic life. Her passion was sharing time with family and friends. Frances thrived as a wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker, friend, and farmer, and she valued attending church, praying for others, writing personal notes, reading, and traveling with her husband.

A celebration of her life will take place at the Beardsley Funeral Home & Crematory, 113 North Third Street, Clearfield, on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Stevan Sheets of the Hyde Wesleyan Church. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 3-6 p.m. on Monday, April 27, 2026, and the morning of the service beginning at 10 a.m. until the hour of service. Interment will be in the Shiloh Cemetery.
