Frederick F. Fleisher

Frederick F. Fleisher, 85, passed away on February 17, 2026, at his home.

He was born October 20, 1940, in Newport, PA, the son of the late Charles and Evelyn (Flinkenger) Fleisher.

Fred retired from the former Permagrain Products in 2002 and also worked at Plubell Sawmill for 10 years.

He was a member of the Emmanuel United Methodist Church and the Mosquito Creek Sportsman's Club. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is survived by his wife, Elveretta 'Elva' (Barrick) Fleisher whom he wed January 21, 1962; two daughters, Bonnie Garito and husband, David of Clearfield, and Jodi Anderson and husband, Joe of DuBois; and two grandsons, David Garito and wife, Pam of Clearfield and Michael Garito of Clearfield.

In addition to his parents, Frederick was preceded in death by siblings, Josephine Sledzinski, Bertha 'Janie' Hilbish, Charles Fleisher, Clarence Fleisher, and Mildred Cramer.

A memorial service will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 12 PM with Pastor Rich Wallace officiating.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 AM - 12 PM.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 1010 Dorey St., Clearfield, PA 16830; or the the charity of your choosing.
