Fredrick B. McLaughlin

Fredrick B. McLaughlin, 94, passed away on March 12, 2026 at his home.

He was born January 20, 1932, the son of the late William and Ethel (Turner) McLaughlin.

Fred was a Union Carpenter for 35 years. He enjoyed building furniture, gun cases, and many other things. He was an avid hunter.

He is survived by his wife, Edna (Dixon) McLaughlin whom he wed September 15, 1951; two daughters, Sharon Sheaffer and Jessica McLaughlin; and several nieces and nephews.

Fred was the last of his generation. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Terry McLaughlin; and siblings, Richard McLaughlin, Mary Haney, Anna Mae Dixon, Doreen Dixon, Shirley Maines, and Mildred Spingola.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
