Gail Bonsall

August 14, 1935 — November 21, 2024

Gail M. Bonsall, daughter of Andrew 'Bud' McCall, Dorothy Vokes McCall and Stepmother Grace Shaffer McCall, passed away on November 21, 2024 at Knickerbocker Villa.

On August 5, 1958, she wed James C. Bonsall who preceded her in death on August 27, 1979. She retired from the business office of the Curwensville Area School District and as the Secretary/Treasurer of Penn Township.

Surviving are two children; Barbara Hutton and husband Randy, and Keith Bonsall; four grandchildren, Brad Sopic and wife Melissa, Shawn Sopic and wife Brittany, Matthew Bonsall and wife Brittany, and Stephen Bonsall and wife Brittany; and two step grandchildren; Airik Hutton and wife Alyson and Ruthie Kraus and husband Chuck. She is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren, Ella Sopic, Benson Sopic, Lucia Sopic, Esme Sopic, Jules Sopic, Kip Sopic, Logan Bonsall, Finn Bonsall, Lily Bonsall, Harper Hutton, Riley Hutton, Finley Hutton, Layla Kraus, Easton Kraus, and Treyson Kraus. Also surviving are two sisters, Judy Freeman and husband Bill, and Sonya Barr; a brother, George McCall and wife Linda; and her much loved cat, 'Molly'.

In addition to her husband, parents and stepmother, she was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Bonsall; three sisters, Betty Butler, Helen Butler, and Patty Neeper; and three brothers-in-law, Tom Barr, Roy Butler, and Ron Butler.

She will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

There will be no public service or viewing. Burial will be held at Friends Cemetery, Grampian.

Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Curwensville is in charge of arrangements.
