Gerald Douglas Johnson

Gerald Douglas 'Jerry' Johnson, 84, of Curwensville, passed away Monday September 14th, 2026 at his home. 

Born May 20th, 1942 in Clearfield. He was the son of the late Leroy and Lola Johnson.

Gerald was a 1960 graduate of Clearfield Area High School. After high school, Gerald enlisted in the United States Air Force and was discharged in 1964. Then, later in life Gerald owned Gerald Johnson Trucking and drove for Pennway of Dubois. 

He was a member of Hepburnia Church of Faith in Hepburnia, PA.

He leaves behind a wife of 60 years, Pamela (Graham) Johnson, two daughters Brenda Johnson of Curwensville and Denise (Michael) Rosamilia of North Bend PA; a son, Dennis Johnson of Curwensville; four grandchildren, Kara (Bryan) Shearer, Sierra (Anthony) Gearhart, Lauren (Richard) Magnuson and Jeremy Records; five great-grandchildren, Audrielle and Brynlee Shearer, Payton and Bode Gearhart and Jeremy Records Jr.

Gerald was the last of his generation having been proceeded in death by his parents; two brothers, Arnold and Dean Johnson; and an infant daughter, Victoria Johnson.

A Memorial Service will be held at Hepburnia Church of Faith, Hepburnia PA on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 10 AM.
