Gladys Aughenbaugh

Gladys Mae Aughenbaugh, 75, of Clearfield, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at her home.

She was born September 27, 1949, in Clearfield, the daughter of the late Kermit and Twylet (Fulkerson) Bloom.

She was employed at Sapp Brothers and the Roadway Inn (formerly the Friendship Inn), Clearfield. In her spare time, she loved canning, playing cards, and playing bingo. She very much enjoyed raising her family. Her family will remember her for her love and her delicious homemade buns.

Mrs. Aughenbaugh is survived by her three children, Edward Aughenbaugh Jr., Cindy (Paul) Braxton, and Lisa (Christopher Beck) Aughenbaugh; seven grandchildren, Edward (Ivy Mae) Aughenbaugh III, Christina (Ronald) Heiler, Alexander (Lexi) Bush, Jennifer (Harrison) Edwards, Robert (Katie) Leigey Jr., William Holcomb II, Krista Beck; four siblings, Jean Vandemark, Marie Bloom, Nancy Stonebraker, and Guy (Donna) Bloom; great grandchildren, Judith Heiler, Kirby Aughenbaugh, Edward Aughenbaugh IV, Sanita Aughenbaugh, Haiden Edwards, Hunter Edwards, Caleb Shook, Brayden Edwards, Oakley Edwards.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward Aughenbaugh in 2012; a grandson, Christopher Beck; four siblings, Doris Lichvarick, Linda Wriglesworth, Gary Bloom, and Conward Fulkerson; and a great granddaughter, Scarlett Holcomb.

A funeral service will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home & Crematory, Clearfield, on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 1 PM.

A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Satruday from 11 AM - 1 PM.

Interment will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Clearfield.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Lawrence Township Fire Department #3, 86 Fire House Road, Box 5, Glen Richey, PA 16837.
