Harry 'Butch' Calvin Spade Jr.

Harry 'Butch' Spade Jr., 60, passed away on January 27, 2026, at his home.

He was born January 28, 1965, the son of Harry Spade Sr., Vera (Maines) Martell.

Butch was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. Hunting was his passion. He was also a fan of racing, and a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan.

He loved to spend time with his grandchildren and his bulldog and loyal companion, Molly.

Butch worked at the Walmart Distribution Center for many years and later worked at the Clearfield Machine Company. He also was a truck driver for LJF Trucking.

He is survived by his children,Chad Spade and companion Trisha Webster, and Shauna Brown and husband Joshua, seven grandchildren, Hannah Brown, Hailey Brown, Hannah Adams, Hadassah Adams, Abishai Adams, Peter Adams, and Lily Adams; a great-granddaughter, Ruelle Wright; three brothers David Martell and wife Myrna, Brian Martell and wife Brenda, and Gregory Martell and wife Marcie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lori Ann Spade on September 4, 2020 whom he wed March 25, 1995. He was also preceded in death by his stepfather who helped raised him, Hugh Martell; a sister, Lisa Singer; and two brothers, Lynn Spade and Raymond Spade.

A funeral service will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at 11 AM with Pastor Anthony Caiola officiating.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday, February 2, 2026 from 4-7 PM & again on Tuesday from 10 - 11 AM.

Interment will be in the Thompson Cemetery, Glen Richey.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, 113 N. 3rd St., Clearfield, PA 16830.
