Jacob Gabriel Moore

Jacob Gabriel Moore, 27, passed away on October 10, 2026 at his home.

He was born February 22, 1999, the son of Patrick Moore and Tonya (Brown) Jarrell.

Jacob graduated from Triangle Tech as welder and then worked for Xylem Water Solutions.

Jake enjoyed playing video games, especially the Legend of Zelda. He had a deep love for animals and loved his bunny and cat dearly. He was a music lover who enjoyed playing his guitar, going to concerts, and just listening to music. He also enjoyed watching movies. He loved to go on adventures and nature walks.

Jake aspired to be a computer scientist, but settled for just showing off any new gadgets he got. He could fix anything.

He was a truly one of a kind person and the world was a better place with him in it. His presence will never be replaced. He was a wonderful son and loved his family and friends dearly.

He is survived by his mother, Tonya Jarrell and husband Robert of DuBois, his father, Patrick Moore and wife Marilyn of Clearfield; siblings, Monica Moore, Cecilia Moore, Adam Moore, Nathanael Moore, Mary Moore, and Gino Moore; step-siblings, Robert N Jarrell and Shelby Jarrell; step-grandparents, Arthur and Julie Ann Jarrell; numerous, aunts, uncles, cousins; and his partner, Madi Gavlock.

Jacob was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Joan Brown; and his paternal grandparents, Bud and Caroline Moore.

Mass of Christian Burial will be said by Fr. Robert Horgas at the St. Francis Catholic Church on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at 10 AM.

Friends will be received at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory on Monday, October 19, 2026 from 4-7 PM & again on Tuesday from 9-9:30 AM.

Interment will be in the Morningside Cemetery, DuBois.
