Jeannette Ann McGarry

Jeannette Ann McGarry, 53, passed away after a brief illness surrounded by her loving family on June 5, 2026, at the Select Specialty Hospital Johnstown.

She was born February 13, 1973, the daughter of Terry and Carol (Greendoner) McGary.

Jeannette loved spending time with her friends and listening to country music. She was well known throughout the community for having a big heart, and would not hesitate to help anyone in need.

She was a member of Curwensville VFW Post 842, Curwensville American Legion Post 505, and the Rescue Hose & Ladder Co.

Jeannette is survived by her parents, Terry McGary and Carol McGary; two sisters, Michelle 'Shelly' (Everett) Richardson, and Terri (George) Anderson; nieces and nephew, Natache (Cole Hamm) Cobbs, Lauren (Ricky) Magnuson, Cattleya Richardson, and Karmani Richardson; and her beloved cat, Tommy.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Kinley Sr. and Betty Greendoner; paternal grandparents, Thomas C. and Lyda G. McGary; and an uncle, Kinley Greendoner Jr.

A memorial service will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory on Thursday, June 11 2026 at 6 PM.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-6 PM.
