John L. Bloom

John Lee Bloom, 76, passed away on June 28, 2026, at his home after a lengthy illness.

He was born November 30, 1949, the son of Russell and Louise (Bickford) Bloom

John was a proud veteran and served in Vietnam with the U.S. Marines from 1968-1969 and then reenlisted from 1973-1975 for another deployment.

He loved to hunt, fish, and spend time with grandchildren.

John is survived by his spouse Deborah (Conrad) Bloom; sons, Shawn Bloom and wife Melissa, and Shane Bloom and wife Holly; grandchildren, Cross Bloom, Bailey Bloom, Bree Bloom, and Russell Bloom; a great-grandson, Grayson; a sister, Rhonda Beard and husband Rodney; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Shae Bloom; brothers, Edward Bloom, Dennis Bloom, Howard Bloom, and David Bloom; and a sister, Phyllis Silvis.

Honoring John's wishes, there will be no public services.
