Joseph C. Irwin Jr.

Joseph C. Irwin, 63, passed away on August 23, 2025, at Penn Highlands DuBois.

He was born December 15, 1961, in Phipsburg a son of Carolyn (Ogden) Blake.

Joe worked on submarines at General Dynamics in Groton, CT for many years before relocating to Woodland. He enjoyed hunting before his illness.

He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Irwin Blake of Woodland; a brother, Jeffrey Irwin and wife Jenn of Chester, CT; and a step brother, Bart Condon of Woodland.

Joseph is preceded in death by his wife, Debra Irwin; and his step father, Peter Blake Jr.

Honoring Joseph's wishes, there will be no public services.

Interment will be in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.

Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting with arrangements.
