Judy Ellen Kolbe

Judy Ellen Kolbe, 84, of Clearfield, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Penn Highlands DuBois.

Mrs. Kolbe was born October 6, 1940, the daughter of the late Doris Lex and Velma (Marshall) Luzier.

Mrs. Kolbe had been employed for over 10 years tying flies for anglers by Rocky Thomas with True Life Fly Co. She then worked for 10 years at Uni-Mart on Market Street, Clearfield and owned her own dog grooming business before fully retiring, which she truly enjoyed.

Mrs. Kolbe is survived by three children, James Kolbe II and wife Heather of Clearfield, Wendy Kolbe and partner Les Middlesworth of Clearfield, and Melissa Hemphill and husband Dan of Frenchville; grandchildren, Nathanael Moore, Mary Moore, Gino Moore, Michael Hemphill and wife Erica, Matthew Hemphill and wife Cassandra, Amanda Owens and husband Jake, Adam Moore and wife Colleen, and Kyrsten Hemphill; and great grandchildren, Jacob and Alexis Owens, Kylie Knepp, Natalie Lowin, Avah Hemphill, Roman Hemphill, Brooklyn Andino, Charlotte Hemphill, Jameson Hemphill, Grace Hemphill, Milah Hemphill, Ebby Hemphill, Kendra Winkler, Kirsten Winkler, and Kasidy Winkler.

Mrs. Kolbe is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James E. Kolbe died on March 28, 2016; her son, Tracey Lee Kolbe; and a sister, Carrol Luzier Dixon.

Honoring Judy's wishes, there will be no public services.
