Karen Barger

Karen Barger, 71, passed away on June 23, 2026, at Knickerbocker Villa.

She was born August 31, 1954, the daughter of Peter and Lorraine (Witherite) Adniskey.

Karen was a member of the Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed reading, baking, and spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed taking trips to Erie with her husband.

She is survived by her son, Robert Barger of Clearfield; grandchildren, Nathaniel Condon, Mackayla Barger, Savannah Shannon, and Sierra Shannon; a great-granddaughter, Lily Condon; and a sister, Carol Jury.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Wilbur Barger on July 27, 2025 whom she wed September 15, 1973 at Lake Street United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by a son, Peter Barger.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Glad Tidings Assembly of God.
