Karen Emily (Brock) Greendoner

Karen Emily (Brock) Greendoner, passed away on June 14, 2025, at Penn Highlands-DuBois. Born on September 16, 1957 to Peter and Lillian Klusak. 

Karen was a 1975 graduate of Curwensville Area High School. Over the years Karen worked at Kent sportswear, the Progress and had various cleaning positions. She eventually worked for the Curwensville Area School District in the cafeteria and retired.

She was a member of the Curwensville Veterans of Foreign Wars and Rescue Hose and Ladder. Karen was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers and Nascar fan. She loved the Ocean, Mountain Dew and all animals, especially dogs.

Karen is remembered by her loving daughter, Candace Hoover, son-in-law Mark, and her cherished grandchildren, Cayden, Colyn Sloppy and Berklee Hoover, as well as her step-grandchildren, Kellan, Carter, and Gabrielle Hoover. She also leaves behind many additional cousins.

Karen was preceded in death by her father, Peter Klusak, and her mother, Lillian Klusak. Her grandparents, and many aunts and uncles. Also, her best fur friend-Colt. 

Honoring Karen’s wishes, there will be no public services.
