Kathaleen Mae 'Kathy' Rowles

Kathaleen Mae 'Kathy' Rowles, 76, of Clearfield, passed away surrounded by family on November 25, 2025. She was the daughter of Leroy and Bethel (Wisor) Rowles.

Kathy devoted her career to caring for others. She worked as a nurse in labor and delivery at Clearfield Hospital and also worked at Centre Crest Nursing home in Bellefonte, PA for many years before retiring. During her nursing years, she often brought nursing home residents home to join her family for picnics and holiday gatherings. She was known for her unforgettable and elaborate stories, always having the ability to remember the smallest, funniest details no one else could. She had the best jokes, contagious laughter, and compassion for both people and animals in need. She enjoyed volunteering and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her sister, Pamela Winters, and her husband, Jim, of Woodland, PA; her brother, Jeffrey Rowles, and his wife, Denise, of Clearfield, PA; her nieces, Kari Whitehead of Philipsburg, PA, Kristen Messina of Wilmington, DE, Brenda Cioccio of Gibsonia, PA, and Lindsey Dallanegra of Atlanta, GA; and her nephew, Adam Rowles of Cincinnati, OH. She is also survived by three great-nieces, Emily Whitehead, Marlowe Dallanegra, and Reese Dallanegra, and her great-nephews, Samuel Messina, Luca Cioccio, Anthony Cioccio, Jackson Rowles, and Leo Rowles. Her beloved dog, Sadie, and two cats, Baby and Bert, brought her immense joy and comfort. She also opened her home to several foster children over the years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two infant brothers

Funeral services will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home & Crematory, Clearfield on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at 2 pm with Rev. Steve Shields officiating. Burial will be in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.

Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 from 11 AM - 2 PM.
