Kathleen G. Cuetara, 97, of Clearfield died on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Clearfield Hospital.
She was born on June 1, 1914 in Frenchville, a daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Mignot) Gormont.
Mrs. Cuetara was employed at the former Wolf Furniture Company of Clearfield as a bookkeeper for thirty two years, retiring in 1974.
She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield and the Rosary and Altar Society of the church. She was a graduate of St. Francis High School class of 1931.
She is survived by a niece and two nephews, Rita Keith of Danville, William Gormont, Jr. of Rochester, NY and David Cuetara of Bonita Springs, FL.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Cuetara on August, 31, 1980, a sister Emily Gormont, and two brothers William, Sr. and Charles Gormont.
Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Wednesday at10 A.M. with Msgr. H. Desmond McGee, Jr. as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Tuesday from 6-8 PM and on Wednesday from 9-9:30 AM.
A Christian Vigil Service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 5:45 PM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the St. Francis Educational Endowment Fund, 212 South Front Street, Clearfield.
