Kathryn A. "Kay" Pritts, 87
of 105 North Fifth Street, Clearfield died on Sunday, August 31, 2003 at her residence.
She was born on April 17, 1916 in Happy Valley, Somerset County, PA, a daughter of the late Ephraim G. and Jessie (Phillips) Pritts.
Miss Pritts was formerly employed at Dufton's Hardware in Clearfield for 25 years. She also worked at the former Bloom's Drug Store, Brown's Boot Shop and Murphy's 5 & 10.
She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Clearfield, the NON Club, the Coterie Club and the Clearfield Chapter #379 Order of the Eastern Star. She was a fifty-year member of the Clearfield Veteran's of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
She is survived by nieces and nephews,

She was the last of her generation, having been preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Elizabeth 'Libby ' P Thurston and a twin sister and a brother Bertrum Pritts.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Thursday at
11:00 A.M. with Rev. Greg Harbaugh officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 10 - 11:00 AM
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, Joseph & Elizabeth Shaw Public Library, the Golden Bison Assoc. or the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals .
