Kevin L. Wood

Kevin L. 'Woody' Wood, 71, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at his home.

He was born August 28, 1954, the son of Donald and Phyllis (Duckett) Wood.

Woody worked in the deep mines for 20 years and then started his own business, KB Wood Products.

He was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons and the Jaffa Shrine; and Meathead Lodge where he served as the head cook. He enjoyed scuba diving and was an avid hunter.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Noone) Wood whom he wed November 27, 1976; two daughters, Autumn (Gary) Nyahay, and Brianna Kifer; grandchildren, Kaleb, Trenton, Renae, and Michael; brothers, Kerry (Kim) Wood, Don Wood; and two sisters, Linda (Steve) Pierce, and Donna (Bill) Cook; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Pam Dzikoski; a nephew Dustin Peters; and his grandparents who helped raise him, Kenneth and Bessie Lumadue.

A memorial service will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 11 AM.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, March 27, 2026 from 4-7 PM & again on Saturday from 10-11 AM.
