Larry E. Leigey, 70, of Clearfield died on Monday, October 11, 2021.
He was born on May 9, 1951 in Clearfield, a son of the late Clair E. and Peggy D. (Davis) Leigey.
Larry attended Clearfield Area High School and had been a mechanic and employed at Clearfield Machine Shop. In his spare time, Larry enjoyed fishing, hunting and loved being around his family. He was a member of Clearfield Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 812, Clearfield American Legion and the Clearfield Moose Lodge. Larry will be remembered as being very social and knowing everyone and a person who was a 'jack of all trades, master none.'
He is survived by children, Scott E. Gilbert and wife Stacey, Christopher T. Leigey and wife Melanie, Clint R. Horm, Joe P. Lenhart and wife Erina, Angel M. Leigey, Levi C. Leigey and significant other Heather Smeal, and Annie K. Leigey and significant other Eric Emigh; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a sister, Carol L. Shaw and husband Jerry.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two former spouses, Carole Horm and Diana Jean Lenhart; and a grandson, Josiah Horm.
Larry's family would also like to extend a special thanks for Willy and Eric Hardin's friendship toward Larry.
In honor of Larry's wishes, there will be no services observed at this time.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 812, 310 East Market Street, Clearfield, PA 16830.
