Leslie 'Bud' Smith

Leslie H. 'Bud' Smith, 92, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at Mountain Laurel Healthcare and Rehabilitation, Clearfield.

Mr. Smith was born September 1, 1932, in Clearfield, the son of the late Henry and Erma (Cole) Smith.

He was a member of the Flegal Road Church of Christ, Clearfield. He loved cars and buying new ones to add to his collection. Mr. Smith was employed by Perma Grain Products, Murphys Auto, and Clearfield School District. In his later years, he enjoyed visiting and running errands for others. He will truly be missed by his family and friends.

Mr. Smith is survived by five children, Ricky Smith, Marie Smith, Linda (Smith) Jaskowak and husband Mark Jaskowak, Rodney Smith and wife Elaine (Plubell) Smith, and Roger Smith; five grandchildren, Amanda Jaskowak and husband Carl Ingals, James Jaskowak and wife Beth, Travis Smith and wife Jill, Shaye Smith and wife Nicole, and Dalton Smith; five great grandchildren, Ella Smith, Rosalie Smith, Benjamin Smith, Theodore Smith, Connor Jaskowak, Casen Jaskowak; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Mona (Smith) Butler, Leola (Smith) Plubell, and and Ursula (Smith) Johnson; and four brothers, Donald Smith, Ronald Smith, Homer 'Hile' Smith, and Jacob 'Jake' Smith.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be at the Gillingham Cemetery, Frenchville.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Flegal Road Church of Christ, c/o 441 LeContes Mill Road, LeContes Mills, PA 16850.
