Lora Mills

Lora Leila Mills, aka Bubbie, 87, passed away on May 15, 2025, at Penn Highlands DuBois.

She was born April 24, 1938 in Oslo Minnesota, the daughter of Henry Clausen and Leila (Martin) Clausen.

Lora worked at various places including the Bronze Boot where she was a tremendous cook and baker. She later worked as a clerk at the Clearfield Walmart for many years.

Lora sang in a rock band, Jessup, where she later traded in her rock & roll voice for gospel music.

She was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler and Penn State Fan. She loved watching football.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Mills; her children, Vicki (Bruce), Jeff (Annie), Jeannine (Dave), Danny; grandchildren, Daphne (Wayne II), Jesse (Melissa), Renae (Ryan), Jordan (Esther), Justin, and two step-grandchildren, Lennie (Ricki) and Tommy (Alicia); great grandchildren, Jade, Jordan Jr., Ashlynn, Tessa, Wayne III, Albert, Dante, Owen, Milo, and Isabelle; and five step grandchildren, Lenny III, Lindsey, Luke, Bryce and Henry, a great-great granddaughter, Eliana; and close friends, Pastor Tom and Jan Holt, and Jim and Dora Gillingham. Lora was an active member of Living Hope Apostolic church in Clearfield.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three siblings; a grandchild, Jarrod; and a step grandchild, Bryce; and a future granddaughter Bjay.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
