Margaret J. (Hummel) Buck , 69
of Frenchville died on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at home.
She was born on February 23, 1943 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Clarence and Sarah Knepp.
Margaret was a dedicated wife and mother. She had a passion for angels as evident by her collection displayed throughout her house.
She was a member of Congress Hill United Methodist Church, LeContes Mills and the Girard Grange.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Charles Buck whom she wed September 24, 1960; four children, Berneda (Buck) Ireland and husband Biffard, Teresa Buck, Carol (Buck) Rees and Chris Buck and wife Tammi; four grandchildren, Jeanna, Clayton, Tyler and Cody; a great grandson, Daniel, Jr.; a brother, Boyd Hummel; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lingle and two brothers, Gordon and Jessie Hummel.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Saturday at 11:00 am with Pastor Susan Arnold officiating. Interment will follow in the Gillingham Cemetery, Frenchville.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and on Saturday from 10-11 AM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Congress Hill United Methodist Church, PO Box 162, Shawville, PA, 16873 .
