Margaret A. Sayers

Margaret 'Peggy' A. Sayers, 77, passed away on September 1, 2026, at Penn Highlands DuBois.

She was born January 24, 1949, the daughter of D. Peter and Teresa (Marinoble) Koontz.

Peggy worked for the former Community Loan and Discount Company, and then the Community Leasing Company before working for Dimeling & Schrot Insurance where she retired in 2011.

She enjoyed reading, crocheting, and any type of project she could do.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Ronald Sayers whom she wed April 24, 1971; two daughters, Christine Sayers, and Megan Sease and husband Christopher; two grandchildren, Cody Sease, Hope Sease; numerous cousins; a brother-in-law, Jeffrey Sayers; and a sister-in-law, Phyllis Scanish and husband Bob.

In addition to his parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Kathryn Boron.

A visitation will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 from 4-7 PM.
