Marjorie Rauch

Marjorie L. Rauch, 91, passed away on March 30, 2025, at the Christ the King Manor, DuBois.

She was born January 2, 1934, the daughter of Clyde Edward and Mary Emma (Shimel) Young.

Marjorie worked as a custodian for the Clearfield Area School District from 1974-1996 and worked as a housekeeper for many years.

She enjoyed doing puzzles and playing bingo. She loved being a grandmother and spending time with her grandchildren.

Marjorie was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #812 Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by her children, Terry L. Rauch of Clearfield, Sandra (Leland) Condon of Clearfield, Diane (Darrin Swanson) Rowles of Curwensville, and Dawn (Tom) Askew of Houtzdale; five grandchildren, Justin Updyke, Jeremy Condon, Jason Condon, Joshua Rowles, and Jaymeson Rowles; numerous great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Massaro.

In addition to her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by husband, James P. Rauch on August 30, 1968. She was also preceded in death by two children, Ricky J. Rauch, and Kathy Updyke; a granddaughter, Jennifer Updyke; and siblings, Edward C. Young, Leo W. Young, Raymond P. 'Paul' Young, Shirley A. Coudriet, Gary Minns, David Minns, and Bernard Minns.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 3 PM.

Friends will be received from 2-3 PM at the funeral home.
