Mark A. Collins, 62, of Clearfield died on Monday, January 16, 2023 at his home.
He was born on December 6, 1960 in Clearfield, a son of the late Robert and Evelyn (Marsh) Collins.
Mark enjoyed collecting coins, taking care of his guns, and spending time with his loved ones. He loved his scratch off tickets and playing the lottery.
He was a member of Clearfield VFW, and the Hyde Volunteer Fire Company.
Mr. Collins spend his career in the military and served with the U. S. Navy from 1984-1996.
He is survived by his daughter, Mara Collins and companion Alex Duncan; his step daughter, Kara Estes and husband Carl; four grandchildren, Gabrielle Duncan, Patrick Reese, Kira Kramer and Andrew Shaw; three brothers, Wiliam Collins, Larry Collins and wife Cheryl, and Russell Collins and wife Heather; numerous nieces and nephews; and his former wife and close friend, Holly Garrett.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lois 'Betsy' (Dimmick) Collins. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Denny Collins, Joseph Collins, and Robert S. Collins.
Honoring Mark's wishes, there will be no public services.
Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield is in charge of the arrangements.
