Mary Kay Semelsberger

Mary Kay Semelsberger, 73, passed away on July 16, 2026, at Penn Highlands DuBois.

She was born March 13, 1953, the daughter of Charles and Margie (Hepburn) Rumfola.

Mary Kay worked as a medical secretary for various doctors and retired from Clearfield Professional Group after many years. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield.

She was an avid reader and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, David Semelsberger whom she wed October 18, 1974; two children, Alicia Lezzer and husband Michael of Curwensville, and Eric Semelsberger of Clearfield; three grandchildren, Michael Lezzer, Dante Lezzer, and Giana Lezzer; a sister, Patricia Swift and husband Barry of Clearfield; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles 'Charlie' Rumfola Jr., and Franklin Rumfola.

Mass of Christian Burial will be said on by Fr. Robert Horgas on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at 10 AM.

Friends and family will be received at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 from 4-7 & again on Thursday from 9-9:30 AM.

Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Francis Catholic Church, 212 S. Front St., Clearfield, PA 16830; or St. Francis School, 230 S. 2nd St., Clearfield, PA 16830.
