Mildred D. Yaussy, 85
of Curwensville died on Friday, March 9, 2012 at the Ridgeview Elder Care and Rehabilitation Center, Curwensville.
She was born on July 4, 1926 in Curwensville, a daughter of the late Clarence and Grace (Bloom) Keller.
Mrs. Yaussy was a homemaker and attended the Curwensville Christian and Missionary Alliance Church.
She was a fantastic artist, especially in the area of pencil work.
She is survived by two children Ellen Combs and husband David of Cumming, GA and Keith Yaussy and wife Theresa of Wheeling, WV; four grandchildren Jennifer, Heather, Michael and Stephen; a sister Myrtle Zorger and husband Glen of Hepburnia; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Warren J. Yaussy on November 17, 2000 and whom she wed September 15, 1962 in Curwensville; and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Tuesday at 11:00 am with the Reverends Arlene and Joseph Rohrbacker officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Curwensville.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm and on Tuesday from 10 am until the hour of services.
