Miranda Sue Wormuth

Miranda Sue Wormuth, 30, passed away on August 12, 2026 due to a tragic motorcycle accident.

She was born March 29, 1996, the daughter of Sheldon Wormuth III and Michelle (Cutler) McLaughlin.

Miranda graduated from Clearfield Area High School in 2014. She then worked at the Comfort Inn before most recently working at Soaring Heights.

Miranda enjoyed hunting, fishing, and racing. She also enjoyed reading and going on motorcycle rides anytime she could. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, but especially enjoyed spoiling her nieces.

She is survived by her mother, Michelle McLaughlin; four sisters, Shasta (Keith) Wormuth; Shannon (Branden) Shape, Shelby (Kyle) Clouser, and Nichole (Kenneth) Wormuth; paternal grandmother, Francis Dell; an aunt, Branda Jedrzejek; two uncles, Richard and Michael Cutler; nieces, JerzeeRae Wormuth, Alexandria Wormuth, Piper Wormuth, Sierria Shape, Rylee Shape, Charleigh Shape, Emberlee Shape, Kinley Clouser, Adalynn Clouser, Faith Billotte, Lilly Billotte, Emma Sones, and Sierra Sones; and two nephews, Jedin and Kenson Sones.

She was was preceded in death by her companion and lifelong partner, Anthony Myles Sones. She was also preceded in death by her father, Sheldon D. Wormuth III, maternal grandparents, Frederick and Shirley Cutler; and paternal grandfather Sheldon D. Wormuth II.

Honoring Miranda's wishes, there will be no public services.
