Nathaniel Albert Dennis Sr., 67, passed away on January 26, 2026, at his home.
He was born March 19, 1958, the son of Nathaniel Oliver Dennis and Patricia (Karp) Dennis.
Nathaniel graduated from West Branch High School and the Clearfield Votech in 1976.
He was the owner of Dennis Metals for many years.
Mr. Dennis was an avid bowler and a board member for the local bowling association. He competed in many bowling events around the country, including the Senior Nationals where he was a champion. He bowled in various leagues at the Clearfield and DuBois Lanes. He was very proud that he bowled a 300 on multiple occasions.
Nathaniel's family meant everything to him. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-granddaughter. A man admired by his son and daughter will forever live on in their hearts.
He is survived by his companion, Tina Musto; three children, Lynn Hockenberry and husband Michael of Clearfield, Nathaniel Albert Dennis Jr. of New Millport, and Anthony Bass of Winburne; grandchildren, Devon, Victoria, Jason, Natalee, Anthony, Allanmichael, and Andrew; a great-granddaughter, Halo; three brothers; one sister; three sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Dennis. He was also preceded in death by numerous aunts and uncles.
A funeral service will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory on Friday, January 30, 2026 at 12 PM with Pastor Bob Witherow officiating.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 10 AM - 12 PM.
Interment will be in the Fruit Hill Cemetery.
