Pauline D. 'Boots' Dixon, 95, of Clearfield died on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at the Knickerbocker Villa, Clearfield.
She was born on August 17, 1927 in West Decatur, a daughter of the late Ralph and Grace (Wisor) Bodle.
Mrs. Dixon retired from Budget Plan Consumer Discount Co. in 1983. In her spare time, Boots enjoyed needlework. She was a member of and attended the Clearfield Alliance Church.
She is survived by two children, Howard 'Butch' Dixon and wife Cheryl of Clearfield, and Joan Dixon and significant other Brian Noll of State College; four grandchildren, Chris Dixon and wife Nikki, Doug Dixon and wife Amy, Suzanne Dixon and significant other Chris Hummer, and Greg Dixon and wife Valerie; ten great grandchildren; one great great grandson; and a sister, and Norma Kerfoot of Frankfort Springs.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Briana; two sisters, Alberta Hargrove and LaVaughn Glosser; and three brothers, Albert, Norman, and Ronald Bodle.
Funeral services will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Monday at 4 PM with Pastor Michelle Bodle officiating. Interment will be in the Reidy Cemetery, Wallaceton.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 2 PM - 4 PM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Salvation Army or to the charity of one's choice.
