Ralph E. Harford, 78, of Grampian died on Friday, October 3, 2025 at the DuBois Nursing Home.

He was born on November 3, 1946 in Boulder, CO, a son of the late John and Berenice (Niedr) Harford.

Mr. Harford was a self-employed engraver, traveling throughout different areas of the country to do so. Engraving was not only a hobby, but his passion. In his younger years, he enjoyed fishing in his spare time.

He was a member of Community Baptist Church, Curwensville

Mr. Harford served with the U. S. Air Force for 15 years. He served during the Vietnam War and visited many countries during his service.

He is survived by five step children, Dayton Nixon and wife Mary, Vernon Nixon, Bonnie Bedward, Victoria Eden, and Carl Nixon and wife Denise; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; three brothers, Robert John Harford, James Richard Harford, and William Beel Harford; and a sister, Susan Ann Marchmenn.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carol A. (McDonald) Harford on April 7, 2021 and whom he wed December 15, 1976.

Funeral services will be held at the Community Baptist Church, Curwensville on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at 12 PM with Pastor Joel Daku officiating.

Friends will be received at the church on Tuesday from 10 AM - 12 PM.
