Robert “Bob” Elwood Mulhollem, Jr., age 70, went home to be with the Lord on October 27, 2026. Born January 19, 1956, in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania. Bob will be remembered for his strong Christian faith, generous spirit, devotion to family, and the lasting friendships he built throughout his life.

A 1974 graduate of West Branch High School, Bob earned his degree in architectural engineering from Penn State University. Throughout his career, he worked for Ellerbe in Washington, D.C.; the VA Hospital in East Orange, New Jersey; Clearfield Hospital; The EADS Group in Altoona; Penn State University; and C&R Directional Boring. He took pride in his work and enjoyed putting his engineering knowledge and problem-solving skills to use.

Outside of work, Bob was a devoted husband, father, and active member of West Side United Methodist Church, where he served in various roles over the years. His faith guided the way he lived, and he valued family, friendship, and helping others. Bob enjoyed simple pleasures: tinkering in his garage, gardening, mowing the lawn, reading, and making his almost-daily trips to Lowe’s. He also loved camping, traveling to faraway places, and sharing adventures with friends. Above all, he treasured time spent with those he loved. One of his joys in recent months was looking forward to welcoming his first grandchild.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Pam Mulhollem; his children, Cassandra Mulhollem and her husband, Joshua Diehl, Brady Mulhollem, and Caleb Baas.

He is also survived by his mother, Patricia Mulhollem; his brother, Dave Mulhollem and his wife, Luann; his sisters, Peggy Ryder, Barbara Hale and her husband, Mike, Shirley Britton and her husband, Richard, Donna Sabol and her husband, Tim, and Lynne Dotts and her husband, Scott; his cousin, Cindy Neville and her husband, Mark; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Elwood Mulhollem, and his brother-in-law, Danny Ryder.

Bob was blessed with an extraordinary circle of friends who held a special place in his heart. Whether traveling or enjoying one another’s company at home, these friendships brought tremendous happiness and meaning to his life. To Bob, his friends were an extension of his family. The love, loyalty, and memories they shared will forever be part of his legacy. He was fortunate to be surrounded by that kind of love, and he gave it freely in return.

His family takes comfort in knowing that the love he shared, the memories he created, and the example he set will continue to live on through all who knew him.
