Ronald Alan Kuhn, 76, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026, in Clearfield, PA. Born on April 2, 1949 to Alvin and Marian (Royer) Kuhn. Ronald’s life was a testament to kindness, hard work, and unwavering dedication to those he loved.

A graduate of Clearfield Area High School in 1968, Ronald’s early years were shaped by a strong sense of duty and commitment, values that led him to serve honorably in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War aboard the USS Intrepid.

Following his military service, Ronald dedicated over two decades of his life as a laborer at the Glen-Gery brickyard. Later, he continued his career at Walmart, where he worked for 14 years until his retirement in 2013. Throughout his working years, Ronald was known for his work ethic, willingness to help anyone in need, and an ever-busy spirit that found fulfillment in doing whatever needed to be done.

Ronald was a friendly man who effortlessly got along with everyone he met. But above all else, he treasured his family. He loved spending precious moments with them, listening to old records, teaching his grandchildren how to play catch, and riding bikes—a testament to the relationships he built and nurtured.

Ronald’s interests included sports and music. He was a dedicated fan of the New York Yankees, Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots, and Penn State football. Music, especially The Bee Gees, also held a special place in his heart. He was also known to love a good conversation about classic cars, revealing his knowledge and passion for his hobbies. 

His family, who survive him includes his wife Donna Kuhn, his children Rhonda Richards(Thomas) and Thomas McCreadie(Naomi), and his granddaughters Brooke Bruner, Sierra Clark, Alannah McCreadie, Lyndsai Salat, and Helen Reyes-Mendoza. Ronald’s joy extended further to eight great-grandchildren who delighted him immensely. His sister Karen Cox, who held a dear place in his life. The memory of his brother, Roger Kuhn and his youngest daughter, Brandy Salat, who preceded him in death, remained a cherished part of his heart.

Ron’s life was one marked by quiet strength, generosity, and an unshakable love for those closest to him. As family and friends gather to remember Ronald, they celebrate a life well-lived—a life full of love and laughter.

Memorial services will be held at the Clearfield Alliance Church on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 1:00. All are welcome to attend. He will be buried at the Bradford Cemetery.
