Ruth C. Caldwell, 93, of Curwensville died on Friday, January 18, 2019 at Ridgeview Elder Care and Rehabilitation Center, Curwensville.
She was born on January 2, 1926 in Bells Landing, a daughter of the late Earl and Electa (Johnston) Bell.
Mrs. Caldwell was a homemaker who cherished her family and always was lending a helping hand to anyone who needed. She was a member of the Community Baptist Church, Curwensville and also involved with the food pantry in Curwensville.
She is survived by two children, Pam Guelich and husband Roger of Curwensville, and Terry Caldwell and companion Cindy Michael of Curwensville; a son-in-law, Doylin Neeper of Curwensville, seven grandchildren, Darren Neeper and significant other Melissa Sloppy, Dana Neeper and significant other Calvin Walls Jr., Danelle Saxe and husband Art, Shawna Guelich and companion Davey Blowers, Kimberly Rubbe and husband Joe, Derek Caldwell and wife Catherine, and Nicholas Caldwell; and four great grandchildren, Jordan Demko, Ryan Saxe, Alexa Saxe, and Peyton Caldwell.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Caldwell on January 9, 1968. She was also preceded in death by daughter, Diane Neeper in 2016; and two sisters, Grace Johnston and Marian McCully.
Funeral services will be held at the Community Baptist Church, Curwensville on Wednesday at 11 AM with Pastor Todd Hogue officiating. Interment will follow in the Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.
Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Tuesday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM and at the church on Wednesday from 10-11 AM.
