Sandra Jane Snyder

Sandra Jane (Rodkey) Snyder, 81, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025, at her home.

Mrs. Snyder was born September 16, 1944, the daughter of the late J. Robert and Eugenia (Benovic) Rodkey.

She was a graduate of Clearfield Area High School class of 1962.

She worked as Licensed Practical Nurse at various places. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Clearfield. She was very crafty and extremely skilled at making needlepoint items and cross stitch having won several first place ribbons at the Clfd. Cty. Fair, she enjoyed adult color books and loved her cats.

Sandra is survived by her sister, Charity 'Chatty' O'Dell of Cleafield; as well as a sister-in-law Karen Sankey Rodkey; nieces Teryl Cartwright of Hanover, Janean Rodkey and Rev. M. Gwynn Crichton of Richmond, VA, Kristen Smeal and husband Scott with children Alexa and Chase of Clearfield; and nephew Matthew Rodkey of Clearfield.

Sandra is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, John D. Rodkey and Timothy Rodkey; brother in law William O'Dell; sister in law Joyce Rodkey; and Thomas Cartwright and Kelly Rodkey.

A memorial service will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday at 7pm. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5-7 PM.
