Sarah K. Exley, 64, of Bigler died on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at UPMC Harrisburg.
She was born on August 13, 1957 in Philipsburg, a daughter of the late Clarence and Roseanna (Maines) McBride.
Sarah attended the St. Francis High School and was a homemaker. Most of all, she enjoyed her family and time spent with each other's company. She also liked to go camping and was a member of First Baptist Church, Curwensville.
She is survived by her husband, Dewey Exley whom she wed on November 27, 1974; three children, Dewey 'Dewbug' E. Exley, Jr. of New Millport, Shannon K. Bock and husband Charles of Clearfield, and Scott E. Exley and wife Angel of Shiloh; eight grandchildren, Katlynn, Veronica, Jordyn, Hilton, Elizabeth, Isaac, Maranda, and Alex; a great granddaughter, Addalynn; two brothers, Eugene Greene of Clearfield, and Allen McBride of Irvona; two sisters, June Lance and husband Dave of Clearfield, Rose Mignot and husband Doug of Clearfield; two step brothers, Clarence McBride and John McBride; and three step sisters, Betty Dixon, Cookie Dixon, and Mary Price.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Rebecca; and a brother, Gilbert Maines.
Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church, Curwensville, on Tuesday at 12 PM with Rev. Daniel M. Osterhout officiating. Interment will be in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.
Friends will be received at the First Baptist Church, Curwensville, on Tuesday from 11 AM until the time of service at noon.
